True insights, looking out, from the mind and body of a bipolar sufferer., November 27, 2009
This review is from: Promise of Hope, A (Paperback)

I thought it was a very easy to understand, personal experience of a woman afflicted, and living with someone who was bipolar as well, as the author shares her intimate experiences of living with her mother, as well as inhereting the disease herself. It was very insightful, honest and straightforward. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in learning more. It was an interesting story, as well as educational. It was hard to put down.

An important read/listen for any person diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder!!, July 11, 2010
This review is from: Promise of Hope, A (Paperback)

I’m listening to this book and have been taken on an emotional rollercoaster description of the world of Bipolar. She is detailed in her writing and truthful to the point of being painful. It is so good to hear that I am not alone and also the affect we have on other people. Insightful and wonderful, I will recommend this book to all I know and love.
As for the negative review above…please, check this out for yourself. No one knows what causes Bipolar and no one has a cure for all. However, people have been cured by the most basic nutritional suppliments and God given wisdom. Happy reading!

True Hope is here, January 5, 2011
By Anthony G. Ross (San Diego, CA)
This review is from: A Promise of Hope (Paperback)

Before this book can be truly reviewed, you have to had watched a loved one be tormented by a mental illness. Autumn Stingam does an excellent job in showing the horribleness of this disease of the brain. It really touched me when she writes in this book how she would go to sleep with a Bible on her chest praying for God to help her or take her. My son did the same thing. It was unbelievably painful to watch this disease control my son and make him suffer. He was on so many psych drugs that he was either physically sick or a zombie or both, depending on the medication. I felt so helpless until I heard about Truehope. Truehope plus counseling were the ONLY things that gave my son back his life. I knew in general the story of how Truehope was discovered but I wanted to know more and I feel Autumn did a great job in this book describing what lead up to the breakthrough. Truehope is not a scam–I am a real believer after I saw the dramatic change in my son. Truehope is being studied at Mc Gill University in Montreal, University of Alberta and Harvard University. Read this book and find hope.
